Outdoor Recreation in Kaufman County – Time to Get Outside!

Now is the best time to explore the natural side of Kaufman County. While Wildcat Ranch features a variety of amenities and nature trails, Kaufman County provides its’ residents with plenty of opportunities to be active outside and enjoy the Texas landscape. John Bunker Sands Wetland Center

Get some fresh air and explore the wetlands of Texas at the John Bunker Sands Wetlands Center. Conveniently a short drive from Wildcat Ranch, venture to Seagoville for an environmental experience. Here you can learn about the water conservation, wetland systems, wildlife, and environmental trends in the area. With their expansive trail system throughout the wetlands, you will be surrounded by wildlife above and below the surface.

Kaufman City Lake Park

Just down the road from Crandall in Kaufman is the Kaufman City Lake Park. Here you can enjoy many different varieties of recreational leisure from fishing, boating, hiking, or even picnicking.

Cedar Creek Lake Reservoir
